Hi, I just got a laptop with a 1GHz Celly and a SMC 2632W PC wireless card (Win XP Home). I am using a Linux box with a Linksys WiFi card as an access point. The maximum transmission rates I get are about 630 kB/s which I gather is all right since the connection is really 5.5 Mb/s. The problem is the CPU usage.
